In 2012, Annie obtained a Master of Arts degree in Professional Communications at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) where, in 2010, she graduated Cum Laude and was named to the Dean’s List earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and units completed toward a minor in Radio, TV & Film. She was named a recipient of The LAGRANT Foundation Scholarship in 2011. Annie serves as Vice President of Marketing for the College of Communication Alumni Chapter at CSUF and a volunteer public information officer for the American Red Cross.

Annie is a freelance photographer and journalist writing for the Independent News in Anaheim and Buena Park; The Event News in Cypress; and the News-Enterprise in Los Alamitos. She was the principle photographer and co-designer for the Junior Olympics 16U Baseball Team in 2009 and 2010. In 2007, Annie was the recipient of a State Congressional Recognition Award from Senator Lou Correa and a City of Buena Park Recognition Award from Mayor Patsy Marshall for her work as publicist for the local Buena Park American Little League All-Star Team’s Regional Little League World Series run.

Annie was a contributing author for the Gigare Lifestyle Magazine September 2012 issue with an article named “The Spirit of Entrepreneurship: Taking Risks.” Another article written by Annie entitled “Critical Thinking: Which Stories Should Be Published On Which Platforms?” was published in the March 2012 issue of Editor and Publisher.

Previously, Annie was the Director of Public Relations at Felten Media Services, a public relations boutique specializing in public relations, media placement, event planning, talent management/representation, social media, photography and video production.

Currently, she holds the position of Marketing and Public Relations Manager for EIZO Inc, a manufacturer of high end monitors and displays for the medical, graphics, business, air traffic control,  security and surveillance, and gaming verticals.
